My Take:

A cracking story that holds all the ingredients tight till the end. Romance tick, Suspense tick, Chemistry Tick, Family and Friends tick. A well written story with the much needed drama and suspense sprinkled liberally.

Diya Thakur is a fashion designer who has a string political family that tries to control her and keep an eye all the time. She rebels and moves to Mumbai to create a name for herself and far away from her peering family. But the orthodox, traditional family that she comes from, how she manages to convince her family to let go of her and be independent is a mystery. What's her trump card that she has used to bend her family?

VJ Bellani is a super cop, on the verge of breaking a big nexus of illegal transactions happening that he is asked to be a bodyguard to the haughty Diya. She hates being ordered and he's coerced in this mission which if he succeeds in would bring down the biggest names in politics and business. VJ in spite of being a cop screams of royalty. He has friends who are powerful and big in the industry. How does he know them? What's he hiding?

When VJ and Diya are put together both do their best to avoid each other but unknowingly fall in love.Inspite of all the clashes they have things change rapidly between them. But will a bodyguard and a powerful daughter alliance be accepted by their families? What happens when Diya has to face the most shocking truth about VJ? Will they fall apart? Read the book to find.

Save the best for the last seems to be the motto. Its a clash between fire and water, chalk and cheese and the chemistry between them is to die for. The Sehgal family and friends enter the story and play their part aptly. The narration is smooth and keeps you on the edge and curious to know what happens next.
