Blurb:

The universe may conspire against you. The stars may collude to bring you down. But God has a plan, always the best one for you. You need to trust it, live it and enjoy it.

Amrit, an accomplished doctor with a fetching personality, blames himself for his wife Niharika’s death. He is stuck in his past.

Arpita, a simple girl, fighting many complexes, cheated in her marriage, is not ready to trust anyone in life.
The Stars, ever conspiring, bring them together. But can they be together for a lifetime?

Is it facile for Amrit to let go off past?

Is it possible for Arpita to trust someone again?

Will Arpita ever be able to see herself through Amrit’s eyes?

How do the stars conspire bring Niharika into their lives?

Does the destiny unite them finally or push them away forever?

My Take:

Misunderstanding, a simple word that destroys lives. All it needs it a clear communication between people to resolve things, but our ego, self respect or whatever we call it never allows us to talk it out.

We assume the worst and always try to come in terms with it without giving the other person a chance to explain or even clarify whether they meant what we heard or assumed. Relationships break. Lives change.

Yet another riveting one by the author who has handled the complexities of relationships beautifully.

Arpita, a divorcee stays with her mom. She's simple and being dusky in a country like ours is always looked up which pulls her more into her shell. Fighting her own demons, society and broken marriage she is shattered when her only support her mom Nidhi is diagnosed with a life threatening disease.

Amrit,a successful and respected doctor who is considerate and emotional. A simple man he too is tied to his past which never allows him to look ahead.

What happens when Arpit and Amrit cross paths? Will they be able to overcome their pasts? Will they be happily ever after or will their own insecurities and misunderstandings get better of them? Read the book to find out.

The characters are etched well with a good insight to what goes in their minds. The story moves in at a decent pace and blends well.I liked the way the author connected their pasts to the present which helps in relating to them better. The narration keeps you engaged till the end.

I would rate this 4.5/5
