Book Review #93 Love Inc : Shuchi Kapoor

Blurb:

Aaryan is a true cynic, trying to establish his identity, independent of his father. He has no time for love or its trappings.
She is the brightest spark in Nakul’s ambitious yet pragmatic existence. She owns his heart, now and forever.

Gayatri has found the love of her life. He is what she needs – a sharp sense of humour and a heart of gold. She can’t wait to spend her life with him!

But is he the one?

In a world where love is confusing and friendship, treacherous, Gayatri has to face her own imperfections head-on. Her pre-conceived notions mock her in her quest for happiness.

Love Inc is Gayatri’s story as she discovers that it’s easier living with a bruised heart than to risk giving it to someone who may trample all over it with his arrogance and indifference.

My Take:

Love stories, a genre enjoyed by many. Stories that talks about love, made for each other and happily ever after. I am a fan of this genre where there's romance, chemistry and always the opposites attract. Nothing is unpredictable in these stories, only the skill of the author is tested in writing the story in a manner that captivates the interest of the reader till the end.

Gayatri is a happy go lucky girl who believes in happily ever after and gets confused between love and like. To spend more time with the person she thinks she loves , Nakul she joins the same organisation, but the ever cynic Aryan makes an entry here and starts the confusion for Gayatri. Is she in Love, was she in Love? What makes this new relation tick? Pick the book to find out.

The chemistry between AK and Gayatri is undeniable. I felt Nakul's character was not well built. Should have been more considerate to his feelings. The writing style is nice. Narration is good, you won't feel bored. The story moves at a  good pace.Pick this if you love romance..A light read. Could have been written better.

Rating:

I would rate this 3/5.
