Book Review #178 Love In Agartha : Sundari Venkatraman

Blurb:

When Sanat Kumara usurps the job that Naavya Batra has been coveting for a long time, her instantaneous attraction towards him turns to intense dislike.

But soon, she's all in admiration for the man. When she finally decides to give herself to him, Sanat insists on telling Naavya something about her…

…something she has absolutely no memory of.

What does Sanat know about Naavya that she herself isn’t aware of? And what secrets are her cousins holding back from her?

Read this tale of fantasy which takes you to three different realms on the earth, to find out if Sanat Kumara is really what he appears to be on the surface. But what about Naavya? Will her love for Sanat hold up under the circumstances?

My Take:

A novel way tried by the author this time. Something out of her comfort zone in the way of handling the story but the genre is the all time classic romance. A story that spans through places and dwindles between earth and the other dimensions.

Sanath Kumara is the Prince of Agartha a place where life is just beautiful. No negativity, sarcascm, stealing etc. A place where people speak only truth and have a balanced life. In short something like we all crave and dream of.

Navya Batra is a hard working young girl, in the dream city of Mumbai. She is next in line for promotion and life looks good for her now. She has had a disturbing childhood losing her parents early and having to stay with uncle and aunt. Although she had a wonderful bond with her cousins Ritesh and Ramesh she and her aunt have a turbulent relationship.

What happens when the twain meet on the earth? Sanath Kumara has come to earth and in Navya’s life with a purpose. He joins the place she works so as to remain close to her. With Navya recognize him and get ready to go back to Agartha? Read the book to find out.

The narration is smooth and engaging. The backdrop of all the dimensions be it Agartha, Earth or Ankara are created magnificently. The grandeur, aura and the picture the image the place creates pull you over. The time travel, the life on other dimensions are crafted well.

Do read if you love fantasy, after reading I am sure you would love to even believe or be a part of one.

4.7/5
