Book Review #174 : No More No Less Part 2: Alisha Nandeshwar

Blurb:

Pari never thought she would end up doing one thing she couldn’t even dream about – break Sameer’s heart and send him away from her. But being stuck in a storm, Pari decides to keep friendship first rather than love. However, Sameer doesn’t agree with her.
Sameer had plans and dreams. Pari wrecked them all at once in an instant. Even though he knows Pari’s reasons and understands them, it takes him a long time to come around and let go of his anger. Now that he finally has what he dreamt of, he knows life is gonna be perfect. But life, as usual, has other plans for them.
Will Pari and Sameer survive the hand that fate deals them this time? Or will they end up oceans apart again, never to be united?

My Take:

One of the finest sequels read in recent times. The plot is developed beautifully. I liked the way the story moved forward. Lot of character to each ones they define and stand tall.

It starts from where it ended. Moving on and convincing Sameer was a challenge Pari faced. Pari was devastated and broken with all happening around her, but she held her ground and try to win Sameer back. In spite of being in a monologue for long she doesn’t give up and that makes her a hero.

Sameer breaks down when Pari puts friendship ahead of her relationship. He is shattered and in no mood to forgive her. But as he calms down he realizes her love and comes around. Its human to be a little selfish, but the moment he realized he might lose her forever and that she is equally broken like he is he gives in and works with her for the relationship.

Things go smooth for them with a happily ever after in cards that suddenly a storm comes that can devastate and change all equations. Will Pari and Sameer be able to withstand that? Will the relationship/love change? Will the friendships and other relationships again be at stake? Read the book to find out.

Neatly defined characters, smooth writing and a tight plot makes this an engaging read. I loved the author brings across the emotions of all characters. You can feel the pain and connect with them.

Rating:

5/5 for this.
