Book Review # 130 Operation Camouflage : Amit Sidham

Blurb:

Aaditya or Aadi, a young corporate executive, is a happily married father of a sweet little daughter, living a completely normal life. Until one day he is attacked in his office by armed men. The incident leads to an astonishing revelation about a hidden identity of Aadi that even his family is not aware of. Everyone is dumbstruck and has the same questions in their minds. 'Who is Aadi?' He is neither a soldier nor a spy, not a cop nor a goon, definitely not a terrorist nor a bandit. Then who is he? Why was he attacked? What is his mission?

The adventure does not end there. The untimely revelation brings out a new set of challenges in front of Aadi and his team that could jeopardize their mission. Will they succeed? How and at what price will they accomplish their purpose?

Join Aadi and his team as they uncover the camouflage and reveal their purpose.

My Take:

A refreshing story with science, technology, action as the heroes. The author has built a world that is too good to be true. An ideal way a country should be.

Aadi a happily married executive with a daughter is happy and satisfied with life. With no much dreams to grow and come up in life, his wife feels he lacks ambition. But things are not as they seem to be. When an attack by armed men happens on him, the way he handles and swifts into action leaves everyone thunderstruck.

What happens next with the families and the leads involved is a roller coaster ride. So many surprises and revelations that happens which leaves them amazed and awestruck. But as they say with the highs come the lows. Here the lows are in the form of the challenges that usually comes when the technology and the set up is only for the benefit and development of the country. How they handle this and much more forms the story.

The writing style is smooth and the thinking is out of the box. I liked the outline and the way the author brings together the story. All the characters are well developed and the world created is a dream zone, something we all would wish to be a part of.  A beautiful world with characters a little over the top I felt.

Social Issues, Save The Earth angle and the Indian judiciary system are incorporated well in the story. .

I would rate this 3.8/5 .
