Book Review # 126 A Love Story By Destiny : Deesha Sangani

The author has sent the book in exchange of an honest and unbiased review.

Blurb:

Avanni Singh is amazed when she meets Kiran Kapoor, her lover’s namesake. What is more astonishing is that his beloved shares her name. It seems like some prank by fate, but little do they know it was going to become an adventure they would never forget!

When Kiran loses one of his senses, and Avanni fails in her desperate attempts to help him recover, she gives up on life, tired of fighting the challenges. And then she happens to fall in love again, with another man bearing the same name. Sounds unbelievable, right?

Swimming in the pool of guilt, Avanni finds out that her partner – for whom she had been fighting a battle with life – was actually cheating on her!

Can two couples with the same names be connected in some way?

Can love happen when you least expect it to, and create A Love Story by Destiny?

My Take:

Two couples, same names ,different destiny, life, love and suspense. This is what the story is about. Too many coincidences happen with them. Their roller coaster ride is captured by the author vividly.

The story is penned from one Avanni's point of view. The other Avanni's character has limited exposure. Avanni Singh  is a strong independent girl, a painter with an ambition to open a gallery someday. Kiran Kapoor is a self made man who has worked hard and opened his dream restaurant. When they both meet, love at first sight happens. All the mushy things that scream love follow. They decide to get married and both believe this is the happily ever after. But fate intervenes.

Cut to present now Avaanni is too much in love and a proud wife of Pilot Kiran Kapoor. The Kiran Aavanni felt in love with first ends up with another Aavanni, Aavanni Khanna. Read the book to find out how this happens and how coincidences and fate play a role in this unbelieving yet different love story.

The authors imagination prompted me to pick this book. The story line is usual but what makes it a peppy and curious read is the names and how they end up with each other. The narration is simple. It may sound confusing with the blurb but the author is clear and sincere about what she is talking about. I liked the way the end is left open. Sequel might be on cards.

I would rate this 3.4/5 .
