Blurb:

Life's complicated for Seema Rawat, cyberspy.
From the files of the Intelligence Bureau:

Mission: Infiltrate the suspect's place of work and extract information from his computer.
Target: Adhith Verma, son of India's finance minister. Handsome, charming, well-dressed.
Threat: Vikram Joshi, suspect's boss and BFF, cybersecurity prodigy hot on the trail of the spy in their systems. Always says the wrong thing at the wrong time but has pecs and abs which can send Seema's hormones into a Bollywood group dance.
Complication: Seema's auntie who is determined to protect her virtue from both men.
Operation: ONE MONSOON IN MUMBAI.

My Take:

Set in the "City never Sleeps" Mumbai this is a story of Seema Rawat, a beautiful, intelligent, spy who is on a mission. After having battled a rather torrid childhood and a difficult life she is tough as a cookie. Hell bent in proving herself and craving a niche of her own.

Adith Verma has it all. A famous life, a connected father and easy life. He works with his BFF Vikram Joshi, whose family of doctors have not been very accommodating with his choice of career. Working hard to make it big on his own he is superb at his job.

What happens when their worlds collide? Everyone is pretending and hiding their own feelings. With a love triangle and a probable quadrangle, confusion and ego getting better of them will they be able to realize their feelings and accept what their hearts desire.

The way the characters are introduced and their stories blend makes this a breezy easy read. The book captures you from the word go. A myriad of emotions. The family members of all the characters are also given a decent detailing. They all connect to the story well. Nothing or no one sounds out of place. A sprinkle of comedy makes you laugh. The funny situations are written nicely.

I would rate this 4/5 . Do pick this up and you wont regret reading this. A simple story with a tadka of suspense, romance, friendship, family and of course humor.
