Blurb:

When the sassy Pari meets the arrogant Sameer, it is impossible for them to avoid the sparks of love that flare between them like a forest fire, but falling in love is easy. It is staying in love that's like a rollercoaster ride–all full of ups and downs and a whole cocktail of twists and turns. As if that wasn't enough, there is always destiny ready to make things worse. And sometimes it has nothing to do with destiny! So while Sameer and Pari are busy writing the chapters of their perfect love story, fate intervenes in the most terrible way and now they don't know if they would make it to their ‘Happily Ever After’ unscathed...

My Take:

Some authors write love stories, some live them. Alisha comes in the second category. This piece of work doesn't look like her first. She has outdone probably many authors who write stories in the name of "Love Stories" but you feel nothing reading about them.

For me, love stories are sacred, although I believe in happily ever after, even love stories that doesn't complete commands respect. An amalgamation of Love and friendship , the right dose of fun and laughter, this one takes you a trip down the memory lane.We all relate to the moments of friends, friendships, smiles and tears.

Pari is a dreamy girl who believes her Prince Charming will sweep her off the feet. She wishes to settle for nothing less than that. Riya also has the same thought process. Avinash is another best friend  who completes the trio. A guy who's handsome, sweet and flirty; he is a guy girls fall for and he is the friend everyone wishes to have.He is protective and loves the girls to death, unconditional and always there. The bonding between the friends are something we all wish for.

Enter Sameer, Avinash's cousin who has all the qualities of the Prince Charming and Pari starts dreaming for her happily ever after. However, what's life without twists and turns ?? Fate brings them in cross roads; to chose love or friendship? What Pari chose and how it affects all her other relation and dynamics, read the book to find out.

Loved the narration. The start was a little slow for me, but the story picked up pace after first few pages. The characters are well developed. Their backstory gives a idea as to how and why they are so inseparable and important to each other. The chemistry between the friends leave you wanting more.  The book is edited well.I liked the way the story paused at crossroads. Waiting for the sequel.

Rating:

I would rate the book 4/5 for the cool writing, simple story and detailed characters.
