My Take:

A very cliched story, of falling in love ,separating and getting back together. Written decently with lot of emotions. Not bad for a first time author, but I felt it lacks depth. Stretched much I mean you can skip a few pages and read and you would still be able to read without missing out many. Many thoughts are repetitive ,could have been avoided.

I found Arjun very confused and selfish. Understood he has went through array of emotions hand has his own struggle and fears still doesn't justify his behavior. I couldn't connect with his character and behavior. It is always him deciding when to be in and when to not be in.

Aakanksha, is real, practical and full of positivism. She tries to look at the positives and be strong and happy instead of brooding over negative or lost things. I like the way she looks at life and lives. But am not convinced with her in the end. I mean forgiving and accepting even after all that he had done sounded too filmy. Agreed love is all about accepting the person unconditionally, still I am not able to agree with her point of view.

Abhimanyu and Payal have been etched well with Abhimanyu being the shoulder to cry on and a friend everyone would like to have.Overall a decent read. The author has a way with words. She has built the characters well.

Rating:
