Arjun is a mature and suave man. Amrita is the last person he considers to be a match for himself. But she surprises him and he starts to open up more than he had ever intended to.
Filled with love, passion, zeal to excel, Gauri Mittal's debut novel will make you fall in love again.

My Take:

I am a big romantic book fan. I love happy endings and little mushy things , to a limit of being subtle, Most of the times it's overdone, spoiling the fun of reading. A fine line to balance. But Gauri, hats off for being able to keep it simple and sweet. The story is not a unknown one but the simplicity is the strength of this book. The author has been able to write  a cliched story in a very refreshing way.

All the characters are described beautifully , the flow of the book is normal paced. Minute details of the characters are etched neatly. I liked the layers both Arjun and Amrita had, not all good and perfect, making them more relatable. The concept of Arranged Marriage is used beautifully, and the old school way of meeting, falling in love is  simply majestic. You wish to be a part of such stories. They stay with you for long making you smile thinking about it.

Although, some episodes give you a feeling of being unnecessary, still the book is a good read. Grab a copy now as this is one of the make you feel good kinda book. The one that restores faith in love, family and marriage.

Rating:
I would rate this book 4/5 for the simple story and narration. You can buy the book here.
