Social Media and Kids

These days, it feels like no one has time to actually talk anymore. Everyone’s just glued to WhatsApp, sharing photos as a "status" like it’s some new-age diary entry. We’re all online, but somehow, no one has the time to connect one-on-one. Sad but true. ๐Ÿ˜”

The other day, when we decided to upgrade our phone, we made the big mistake of putting the spare number in the smartphone. And now? The kiddo’s got a claim on it, saying he needs it to "connect with his grandparents." (As if I trust him with that, lol ๐Ÿ˜‚)

But here’s the kicker: despite being right there in the same room, he pings me on WhatsApp for every silly question! ๐Ÿ˜‹ And it’s gotten so out of hand, I had to password-protect the phone just to get some peace.

Can you imagine? A family sitting in the same room, all communicating via WhatsApp? ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฐ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

What has the world come to? Is this what we’ve come to? A digital bubble that’s slowly turning us into virtual strangers with those we’re closest to? ๐Ÿคฏ
