Book Review#20: Indian SuperFoods: Rujuta Diwekar
Rujuta's latest book has taken as usual by storm. This book is absolutely recommended highly for people who wish to eat traditional foods and yet remain healthy and fit.
Just awesome and great to hear positive about the traditionally forgotten foods like ghee, banana and coconut oil. After hearing from a most sought dietician at least these traditional foods would get their place back in the shelves and our lives.
I loved the way she has explained the importance of such foods and yes. Every day after starting my day with the humble banana I too have started feeling great. Yes, eating small meals and early dinner has become a part of my life. Do read and be happy to be a part of this wonderful journey of life with these humble super foods.
There are many diet books preaching what to eat and what not to eat. But not all can be followed as most of them say no to ghee. Her scientific and practical explanation makes it convincing to believe and put to practice. Of course the golden mantra is "Eat in moderation".
She's one dietician/ author who explains scientifically as to why those foods are eaten. You tend to agree to the explanation and it sounds easy to implement too.
5 stars for this too..
