Basics of life Countdown# day 6
We all live in the world of technology. We are so much into these digital stuff that we forget that for some people getting the basics is also a luxury. For most maybe they don’t even know about hi fi words and the cell phones we use which has so many apps.
The other day I was working on my laptop my maid was working and suddenly she said “It’s such an easy life for you all”.
I asked her “why”. She said, “You all never have to fight for basic things in life.”
Me: Like what??
She: You all have gas at home and can cook whenever you want. You don’t have to go out looking for kerosene or sticks to cook.
She then went on to explain how much pain they have to take for even getting a gas connection. I realized once again that day how much we take things we have for granted. We never appreciate what we have and always wish for more, whereas there are people who don’t even have the basics for living life.
Thank you god for all that you have blessed us with. Count on your blessings people there are many who are deprived of even that.
