Crazy lives
With vacations starting for kiddo, life is going crazy. With lots of questions and irregular schedule it means extra work for me. Not that I am complaining, but surely it keeps me on toes. Lots would change once he enters Grade 1.
The most challenging job in the vacations is what to cook. :( I am sure all the moms would relate to this one. Another big one is how to keep the kids engaged. When we were kids, come vacations either we were packed to some cousin's place or vice versa. In fact, we used to look forward for the vacations all we all used to get to play and stay with each other’s place, make new friends and just enjoy.
With so much nuclear families and single kid, we now miss our times. And with no one for them to play around, the summer camps are making merry. I would say its very highly priced and what they do for the price is nothing. In short, we spend money for our kids to play with other kids :(

I have a 3 year old, so I am not yet in the school and vacation loop. However, here they offer summer camps for 3 year olds too. They are overpriced, but sometimes they are the only alternative.
